So you\u2019re running a survey and it\u2019s pretty niche, say you\u2019re looking for B2B respondents purely for research rather than lead generation \u2013 where do you start? Where do you actually go for respondents? We\u2019ve scoured the web and even given some of these a try, for our 6 ways to find B2B survey respondents.<\/p>\n<h3>Option 1: Google Consumer Surveys<\/h3>\n<p>It might be branded \u201cconsumer surveys\u201d but they have lots of B2B publishers too. You can use segmentation and the tool will find marketers, SMB owners, freelancers etc. It\u2019s also a self-service platform and with low costs (from just 10\u00a2 a response). <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.co.uk\/insights\/consumersurveys\/home\">Google Consumer Surveys<\/a> hosts all of the questions, it\u2019s not possible just to send them a survey link. It\u2019s a great tool to try if you\u2019re looking for survey responses.<\/p>\n<p>You can't use the tool to recruit for other types of research. However, you can use the tool to run B2B surveys.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-77090 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.smartinsights.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/google-survey-2.png\" alt=\"Google Consumer Surveys on web page \" width=\"460\" height=\"329\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.smartinsights.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/google-survey-2.png 460w, https:\/\/www.smartinsights.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/google-survey-2-150x107.png 150w, https:\/\/www.smartinsights.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/google-survey-2-250x179.png 250w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 460px) 100vw, 460px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Similarly\u2026<\/p>\n<p>You could try Survey Monkey, which works in a very similar way.<\/p>\n<h3>Option: 2 Cint<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cint.com\/\">Cint<\/a> is pretty great. It\u2019s a self-serve tool that has revolutionised \u201csurvey sampling\u201d. They don\u2019t own a single panel, they partner with panels and sites that have big, engaged email lists to send your surveys to those users. You\u2019ll need to host the survey and it will need to be on a platform that can work with custom redirects (such as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.polldaddy.com\">Polldaddy<\/a>). Prices depend on incidence rate and length of the survey. Examples include <a href=\"http:\/\/www.atomikresearch.co.uk\/atomik-business-owners\/\">Atomik research<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.surveysampling.com\/\">SSI<\/a> which both have specialist B2B panels. There are agencies that can help you to produce focus group discussion guides and telephone interview questions, plus you can outsource moderation and interviewing too. Recruiters can recruit for online and offline research projects.<\/p>\n<h3>Option 5: Your own email list<\/h3>\n<p>You could always use your own email lists using <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smartinsights.com\/goal-setting-evaluation\/customer-feedback\/website-feedback-tools-review\/\">freemium customer survey tools<\/a>, but it might be worth considering panels if you\u2019re looking to top up the numbers. Remember to try not to fatigue respondents with long surveys, this affects data quality and if you\u2019re using your own list they might start to think differently about your business if you\u2019re sending long surveys or lots of surveys.
